Chief Scientific Officer, Garik Mkrtchyan is a PhD, Posdoc Fellow at University of Copenhagen. Together with Anastasia, Garik did his master’s degree at Bioengineering and Bioinformatics MSU. Garik’s research is mainly dedicated to use and apply diverse pharmacological tools for controlling the cellular metabolism in mammals. His theoretical and practical scientific training was done in several top research universities abroad, including participation in international exchange PhD Programs in Belgium, England and Austria. All this allowed him to publish his results in peer-reviewed scientific journals and participate in national and international conferences and Summer Schools. Garik’s ability to conduct experimental design and protocols in the highly professional way helps him to be a chief in the scientific unit of MineGenics.
